➡There was a decrease in Gross Direct Premium in Q4FY25 on a q-o-q basis. Although there was an increase in premiums in FY25 over FY24 by 7.36% primarily due to Rise in Motor Insurance, health insurance, Weather and Crop Insurance, Engineering etc.
➡The company has a solvency ratio of 1.59 times.
➡The combined ratio stood at 116% for FY25
➡ Maharashtra continued to be the highest contributor to the company’s GDP, followed by Rajasthan, Odisha, Karnataka, Gujarat and Haryana.
➡Motor Insurance accounts for 37% of the GDP followed by Weather & Crop Insurance (30.72%), Health (17.66%), Fire (8.87).
➡The company based on the Gross Direct Premium contributes to 4.19% of the market share of Non-Life Insurance companies in India as of May 2025.
