➡There was a substantial increase of revenue of ₹451.14 Cr.
The segment reporting of operating revenue for Q2FY23 was as follows:-
- Trading Services : ₹ 2750.01 Cr (2474.26 Cr in Q1)
- Clearing Services : ₹ 70.53 Cr (70.32 Cr in Q1)
- Data Feed Services : ₹ 58.43 Cr (52.26 Cr in Q1)
- Index Licensing Services : ₹ 37.77 Cr (35.31 Cr in Q1)
- Other Segments : ₹ 231.77 Cr (177.73 Cr in Q1)
The increase in revenue was mainly the reason due to increase in revenue from trading services and other segments.
Other income increased to ₹214.40 Cr in Q2 from ₹110.91 Cr in Q1.
➡The increase in Expenses in Q2FY23 was of ₹ 66.97 Cr.
According to the Standalone Half Yearly Financials the % expense stood in this manner :
- Clearing & Settlement (24%)
- Tech Expense ( 21%)
- Regulatory Expense ( 14% )
- Employee Expense (11%)
- Depreciation (11%)
- Premises(4%)
➡There was an increase in investments made by the company. As of Q2FY23 the investments stood at ₹15,706.94 Cr (non-current+current) as compared to ₹12,857.26 Cr in Q1.
➡The Tax Rate for this quarter was 31% as compared to 22% from last quarter.
